Ineco has successfully completed the first phase of the 2025 Innovation Call, with 88 ideas received and the participation of more than 125 company professionals. Following a thorough evaluation process, 20 ideas have been shortlisted for consideration by the Innovation Committee on March 28.
The concepts address the four strategic challenges outlined in this call: comprehensive security, with proposals such as "Intelligent Monitoring of Critical Operations and Tasks", which proposes an advanced system to improve security in key infrastructures. Also, digitalisation of processes and digital twins, with solutions such as "Advanced Monitoring and Prediction System for Maintenance in Critical Infrastructure", which proposes a solution based on real-time data to optimise the management and maintenance of projects or the use of satellites, drones and urban aerial mobility, with initiatives such as "Space for Innovative Commercial Aerial Services", which explores new applications for aerial mobility and the integration of emerging technologies in the sector. The programme also focuses on sustainability, with several ideas aimed at the circular economy, energy efficiency and the reduction of environmental impact in engineering and mobility projects.
This new edition has surpassed the figures of the previous call, despite having more demanding conditions, such as the definition of challenges aligned with the needs of the client and the obligatory nature of guarantees for the proposals. Another example of our commitment to mix with the private innovative ecosystem and promote co-creation as a driver of change in the sector. Ineco thus reinforces the commitment to collaboration with niche technology companies, startups, scaleups and research centres, promoting the exchange of ideas, knowledge and cutting-edge technologies, with open innovation being a strategic pillar to strengthen our positioning in an increasingly competitive global market.
