The General Secretariat for Universities of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities has commissioned Ineco to support the processing of recognition and equivalence of foreign higher education degrees to official Spanish university degrees at the undergraduate or master's level, which grant access to regulated professions in Spain.
To achieve this, Ineco will carry out a consultancy and reengineering of its processes, which, together with planned regulatory simplifications, will make the procedure much more agile. Our company will also implement automation mechanisms to streamline repetitive manual tasks, thereby improving processing times. Additionally, a new, robust IT system adapted to the new processes will be designed to manage applications more efficiently. In the short term, the company will also provide the General Secretariat with a reinforcement team to review pending applications.
Currently, Ineco collaborates with the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice, and Relations with the Courts in managing, classifying, and uploading nationality and civil status application files into processing systems. Thanks to our support, the Ministry has managed to reduce the average processing time over two years, in half, thereby increasing the efficiency of this process.
