Ineco's expert in CNS and ATM systems, Víctor Gordo, participated in Drone City Connect 2025, the first Infodron.es event on drones and aerial mobility.
During his speech at the round table "Regulation and UAM: challenges and opportunities for the city of the future", Víctor Gordo highlighted the difficulty faced by drone operators in obtaining the necessary permits to carry out their flights, which is putting a brake on the development of the sector. As an alternative, it has proposed a one-stop shop for coordination requests through U-space systems, as well as the use of quantitative risk models to facilitate the obtaining of aeronautical authorisations.
Our company has incorporated the use of drones as another tool for the development of our projects and collaborates with, among others, Puertos del Estado and Port Authorities in the introduction of the use of drones in their operations. The work on improving standards, regulation and the development of the U-Space system, both in Spain and in Europe, has led Ineco to be one of the founding members of SIAM, the first national cluster dedicated to promoting and boosting this sector.
This event aimed to create a space for networking and collaboration between industry professionals, promoting innovation in the field of drones and autonomous platforms. During this event, current topics such as the regulation and certification of operations and platforms, the use of drones in the fields of emergencies and healthcare or the implementation of autonomous platforms in the logistics sector for the efficient and intelligent management of assets have been addressed.
