Ineco participated in the Drone Enable 2023 Congress held at the offices of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal (Canada).
Javier de Andrés, manager of the Aerospace Systems Subdirectorate, presented a paper, together with Enaire and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, in which he spoke about the identification of requirements, communications, navigation and surveillance for drone operation.
Our company has been involved for years in the implementation of the so-called new Urban Air Mobility, developing numerous European projects for the deployment of future drone traffic control systems or U-Space. More than 60 professionals are currently working at the company with drones in initiatives that will enable more operations and facilitate applications that cannot yet be carried out today.
Under the theme "Innovation and infrastructure development serving the future of unmanned aviation", the Drone Enable 2023 Congress brought together key stakeholders from industry, academia, governments and international organisations in the unmanned aviation sector to share research, best practices, lessons learned and challenges.
