February 11, 2022

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has shown this Friday his commitment to the STEAM disciplines: science, technology, engineering and mathematics in connection with the arts and humanities. With their attendance at the 'Girls standing up for science' event, organized by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Education and the Ministry of Science and Innovation on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

A meeting that took place at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and was attended by representatives of the STEAM Alliance for female talent, including Ineco. For this reason, the president of the company, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, has taken the opportunity to show in this video the company's commitment to the incorporation of women in engineering.

This synergy for the STEAM disciplines was expanded last Wednesday at the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda with the aim of promoting the interest of girls and young women in careers where the gender gap continues to be a reality, as has been demonstrated to through the report presented today on the gender gap in STEAM training.

Once again, Ineco reaffirms that education is a premise of its philosophy to advance in engineering and mobility, not only building a better-connected society, but also a fairer and more balanced one.
