Ineco is present at the second edition of Global Mobility, the world's leading knowledge and innovation forum for sustainable mobility. The president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, took part in the opening session of this event together with the president of Adif, Maria Luisa Domínguez; the president of Puertos del Estado, Álvaro Rodríguez; the president of Renfe, Raül Blanco and the secretary general for Transport and Mobility, María José Rallo, who was in charge of moderating the debate.
Under the title "The public sector as a driver of public-private collaboration to meet the new challenges of mobility", Sergio Vázquez Torrón highlighted the value of the Spanish infrastructure management model and the crucial role of public talent in its development to become a world leader. In addition, the president of Ineco highlighted that "the company is carrying out an analysis of high speed in Spain which concludes that the cost per kilometre of high speed in Spain is nine times more efficient than in the United Kingdom".
Innovation, the driving force behind Spain's leadership in international mobility
Ineco, which has a space in the pavilion organised by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, will also be present with Ana Rojo, Director of the Ineco Innovation Office, and Víctor Bustos, Commercial Director of International Business. Both will participate in a round table (link if possible) in which they will highlight the company's new innovation model, which is key to our vocation of public service and improving the quality of life of citizens. In addition, Ana Rojo also took part in another debate on public transport as a pillar of sustainable mobility, together with representatives of Metro de Madrid, EMT and CRTM.
Finally, in a round table dedicated to intermodal transport infrastructures, the advances in the RAIL4EARTH project of Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking, the large joint venture for railway innovation promoted by the European Union, in which Ineco participates as an affiliated entity, together with Renfe, in the membership headed by Adif as a founding partner, will be announced. The aim of RAIL4EARTH, funded by the European Union, is to improve the sustainability of Europe's railways in order to build a more attractive and resilient transport model.
