Great success of the first hackathon organised by our company: nearly 400 people registered to participate in a day in which the 50 finalists, organised into 10 teams, put forward proposals to build a new way of understanding mobility thanks to the use of Artificial Intelligence.

The "VenezIA" solution was the winner in this 10-hour challenge thanks to its design of a smart municipal liquid mobility network. Its proposal would make it possible to modify bus routes and street traffic in real time, adapting to the changing needs of the moment.

The president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, has been in charge of launching Mov.ia by Ineco, and has asked them to think in a disruptive way to face the challenges of mobility as if they were starting from scratch. "Challenges like the one we are facing today are an opportunity to share and discover talent", emphasised Vázquez Torrón.

University and training centre students, together with colleagues from the company, took part in the challenge with the aim of rethinking mobility in our country in a more sustainable and inclusive way. A unique opportunity to foster a collaborative spirit and promote talent, framed within Ineco's commitment to innovation and digitalisation. Artificial Intelligence is key for the organisation, which is currently immersed in a programme to optimise its corporate and business processes.

Mov.ia by Ineco was held at El Garaje de VALHALLA, in Madrid. A unique innovation ecosystem where the context, mentality and collaborative culture make innovation a reality and iteration a natural working approach.
