Ineco has become the first Spanish public company to join the Global Digital Compact on Artificial Intelligence (AI), an international initiative promoted by the European Commission to promote the ethical, sustainable and responsible development of this transformative technology. This achievement reinforces Ineco's commitment to technological innovation and digital transformation based on responsibility and ethical coherence.

In the words of Ineco's president, Sergio Vázquez Torrón: "Ineco's leadership in this initiative underlines our vision of technology as a tool for improving the quality of life and moving towards a sustainable future. We want AI to be developed on principles that respect ethics and positive social impact.

The Global AI Compact is a collaborative platform that brings together governments, businesses and organisations from around the world to ensure that Artificial Intelligence is used as a driver for the common good. The initiative seeks to establish ethical standards, promote transparency and ensure the positive impact of AI on society and the environment.

The company is moving forward with its roadmap for the application of Artificial Intelligence after recently participating in the development of the first European regulation on AI to ensure that the regulation drives responsible innovation and supports fundamental rights. A regulation that sets a global precedent in the regulation of AI, promoting its safe and beneficial use for all citizens and that lays the foundations for the creation of a governance model in Ineco that can be applied to the rest of the public administration.

Furthermore, and within the framework of the innovation programme with universities, iCampus, Ineco has launched, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the Artificial Intelligence and Diversity Observatory. This is a pioneering research space focused on identifying patterns and inequalities related to mobility and diversity. To raising awareness and awareness of possible barriers, as well as incorporating reflections towards inclusive mobility, all using AI in an analytical way.

Ineco accompanies various public bodies in their digital transformation processes, incorporating Artificial Intelligence as a pillar for improving their processes. Among other strategic projects, the company is promoting, for the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Courts, the transformation of Justice, in which the application of AI is making it possible to speed up many of its procedures.
