Ineco, in the international ranking of the world's best engineering firms
Eight Spanish companies are included in the top 225 of the ranking published each year by the prestigious American magazine Engineering News Record (ENR), among which Ineco ranks 129th in international revenue and 137th in global revenue. In addition, in the transport sector, our company leads in terms of turnover in Spain, reaching 261.7 million euros (December 2021).
Spain is the European country with the most engineering companies in the top 130 in terms of international turnover: with 7 firms (Idom, Ayesa, Typsa, Sener, Grupo ACS Hotchief, Empresarios Agrupados Internacional and Ineco), it leads the European ranking.
The publication reveals that, in global terms, the revenues of the top 225 companies increased by 8%, from $67.14 billion to $67.65 billion in 2021. As a result, average company revenues also increased marginally from US$47.5 million to US$47.83 million. The percentage of design firms reporting profits increased from 89.4% to 96.7%, with 20 firms sharing this data more than before.
