Representatives of all the organisations present at the event
The President of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, took part in the commemorative ceremony of the 25th anniversary of the Euroamerica Foundation, presided over by King Felipe VI.
This European organisation, based in Spain, aims to stimulate cooperation and understanding between European and Latin American institutions, companies and personalities in order to promote, mainly from the private sector, relations between Europe and America.
Ineco's history has been linked to Latin America since its origins. Early as the 1970s, it began to collaborate with institutions in these countries on various studies and projects to improve transport. The company is currently involved in some of the main projects in the region, such as the feasibility study for the development of the railway between Medellín and Bogot, the final engineering study for the first mountain motorway in Peru, and the administrative, legal and environmental management of the Transport Infrastructure Programme and the Road Infrastructure Programme in Costa Rica.
José Manuel Albares, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Andrés Allamand, Ibero-American Secretary General, and Ramón Jáuregui, President of the Euroamerica Foundation, are some of the personalities who spoke at the event.
