June 15, 2023

Ineco participated in Datafórum Justicia 2023, the annual forum for the justice sector on the culture of data, digitalisation, and humanism, organised by the Ministry of Justice and the Principality of Asturias.

The president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, was one of the main speakers at this important event with a speech in which he highlighted the role of the Public Business Sector for Digital Transformation: "Ineco plays an important role in the digitalisation that is transforming Spain. We were born to improve mobility and now we also contribute to making citizens' lives easier through our work as a leading proprietary medium in digital transformation.

During this forum, the company also presented various technical initiatives in which it participates, contributing value to the Ministry of Justice. Among them, the possibilities offered by the development of metaverses and digital twins, by Raúl García Santamaría, or Carpeta Justicia, the new portal that will enable citizens, companies and professionals in the sector to access all the digital procedures and services of the Justice Administration, by Pablo Muñoz Caffarel and Alberto Cosmen. In addition, Javier Martín Vivar, Enrique Orellana and Miguel Ángel Prado highlighted the Medio de Desarrollo Profesional (MDP) and STARTIC programmes as ideal formulas for attracting and professionally developing junior talent.

As one of the relevant collaborating entities of the event, Ineco has promoted the Datathon that has been held within the framework of the congress. José Francisco Gómez, Digital Transformation Deputy Director, has participated as a jury member in this collaborative competition.

A great team of professionals

More than 700 professionals work in the Ineco team in charge of advancing the digitalisation processes of the Administration. Among them, more than 500 are dedicated to developing the technological projects of the Ministry of Justice, including the entro de Desarrollo o Factoría (Development Centre or Factory), which provides service to more than 300 solutions, or the technical support offices, which from a transversal perspective provide service to the orders and projects of the General Directorate of the Digital Transformation of the Justice's suppliers.

Since Ineco began collaborating with the Ministry of Justice seven years ago, the company has exponentially increased its business volume in this field and has consolidated its position as the company's own means of reference in the digital transformation of the Administration.
