Ineco presents its TWINECO initiative at the first edition of Airspace Integration Week 2023. More than 60 companies took part in this event in which the company highlighted its experience and knowledge as the only company in Spain recognised by the ICAO for the design of flight procedures.
TWINECO is a cutting-edge innovation project that is shaping the future of the aerospace landscape. It is based on a digital twin designed for air navigation infrastructure that offers simulation and prediction capabilities that optimise infrastructure performance. It is a key tool for decision-making and improving maintenance efficiency. Its application also promotes sustainability and resilience by using artificial intelligence models for energy optimisation and simulation of different contingency scenarios.
During this event, Ineco will also give a presentation on a methodology developed by the company to estimate ground risk in urban UAS (unmanned aerial systems) operations. A wide range of tools are used, including Monte Carlo simulations, manual planning and artificial intelligence planners for UAS trajectories.
First edition of this international event
Held in Madrid from September 25 to 28, Airspace Integration Week 2023 is expected to become a global benchmark for the air navigation industry and is organised by the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA).
The Secretary of State for Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda and President of ENAIRE, David Lucas, was in charge of opening this event, where the company has a stand together with Enaire and Senasa.
