The Mitma hosted this event within the framework of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU, which brought together the main transport actors in Europe, as well as representatives of the Spanish Presidency and the European Commission, to discuss the introduction of the assets of the European Union's Space Programme in the railway sector.
The European Union Space Programme Agency (EUSPA), the European Union Railway Agency (ERA) and the Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking (EU-Rail) were the driving forces behind the event.
