Ineco has participated in DRONExpo 2024, a new edition of the great event dedicated to drones, which has highlighted the use of artificial intelligence for the processing of information, data and images, along with other topics such as cybersecurity and digital identity.
Víctor Gordo, expert in CNS - ATM Systems, participated in the panel discussion dedicated to the regulatory progress, infrastructures and UAM services. In his speech, he stressed: " the development of Urban Air Mobility has to solve important challenges in order to achieve viable business cases and these challenges can only be faced with an integrated knowledge of aviation and airspace, intermodality and integration into the urban fabric, so that it is necessary to design infrastructure and the network of airports that takes into account all these aspects, something that can only be achieved with companies like Ineco with experience in all areas of transport with the capacity to develop specialised tools such as the Digital Twin of Vertiport.".
Since the drafting of the Drone Strategic Plan of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ineco has evolved its service approach in the drone market. The company currently uses them for tasks such as taking and processing data in real time, monitoring the progress of a construction site or supporting aviation authorities. Also participates in the implementation of the so-called new Urban Air Mobility.
In this regard, it should be noted that SIAM (Spain Innovative Air Mobility), the first Spanish cluster for innovative air mobility, of which Ineco is a founding member, has been a finalist in the 1st DRONExpo Awards, chaired by the Secretary General for Air and Maritime Transport, Benito Núñez, in the category "Promotion of the Drones Sector".
