The president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, has held a meeting with the Chilean ambassador to Spain, Javier Velasco, and with Gabriel Guggisberg, director of the Promotion of Exports General Directorate (ProChile), together with their respective teams, to discuss Ineco's capabilities and experience as a benchmark engineering company in the development and implementation of the Spanish High Speed Railway network, as part of a round of meetings with the public railway sector.

More than 12,000 kilometres of high-speed railways endorse Ineco as a benchmark engineering company. The company has participated in all phases of the development of the Spanish High Speed Railway network, from technological definition, planning, projects, project management, technical assistance, supply of materials and traffic, to commissioning, maintenance and operation. With 450 million passengers and 30 years of experience since the inauguration of the first high-speed line, Spain is at the head of Europe, with almost 4,000 km of AVE network, and the second in the world, after China. This knowledge has enabled Ineco to export its solutions to the five continents, carrying out feasibility studies, projects, commissioning and supervision of more than 8,200 km of international high-speed railway. Projects such as the deployment of the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) in the 9 European corridors,  its participation in the largest European research and innovation programme to date, ERJU (Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking), as well asits support for the British high speed (HS2) or its participation in the Haramain macro project endorse Ineco's hallmark in the world.
