Ineco is making progress in its decentralisation and the Lugo office
Ineco is making progress in its decentralisation and the Lugo office, our first remote production centre in Spain, is now operational. To show their commitment to this project, the office team received a visit from the president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, and the mayoress of Lugo, Lara Méndez.
During the meeting, both met the multidisciplinary and diverse team from different parts of Spain who are currently working, among others, on projects for Adif, Enaire and the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda. Fifteen professionals with different degrees ranging from civil engineering, aeronautics, agricultural engineering, architecture and computer science.
This first remote centre will reinforce Ineco's presence in Galicia, where the company has a team of around two hundred professionals working on different projects in the region. This model of activity decentralisation aims to promote alliances with universities and vocational training centres, as well as to open up possible channels for collaboration with local companies.
Through an internal survey launched at the beginning of March, more than eight hundred Ineco professionals expressed interest in joining this geographical mobility, which is now materialising in Lugo and will soon also become a reality in Santander and Cáceres.
