A moment of the round table discussion held this Thursday
The IV International Corporate Volunteering Congress organised by Voluntare brought together this Thursday representatives of Corporate Volunteering in the field of business under the slogan 'Gestures that change the world'. Celestino Rodriguez, Corporate Coordination Executive Director, participated in the round table Corporate Volunteering: A bridge to employability, where he shared Ineco's commitment to equal opportunities through the 'Plan Iguales' for the socio-labour integration of people in vulnerable situations. The conference was also attended by the colleagues who designed and developed this plan: Beatriz Vázquez, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, Inés Ovejero, Product Development Manager, and Verónica Algora, IT transversal services Manager.
Celestino Rodríguez highlighted this plan within the company that seeks to professionally incorporate profiles with circumstances that put their access to the labour market at risk: "Helping and accompanying those people who have not had it easy in life to find a future with equal opportunities is the greatest motivation that drives volunteering". The 'Plan Iguales' is structured around five programmes that support and promote the employability of people with disabilities, people over 55 years of age, migrants in a refugee situation, victims of gender violence and people in a situation of social exclusion. During its first 6 months in force, the 'Plan Iguales' has enabled more than 100 new professionals to join the Ineco team, and almost 10 to join other companies, with tutors and mentors playing a key role through volunteering actions.
