The work that Ineco has been carrying out for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works is progressing. Our company is leading the consortium, together with local firms KUD (Kuwait United Development) and Dar Al Jazeera Consultants, in charge of the management of the Kuwait International Airport expansion project.
This improvement is at an advanced stage of construction and includes, among other actions, the construction of a new 700,000m2 terminal building designed by Foster, as well as all the infrastructure associated with the airport's landside and airside. The new terminal is expected to increase the airport's capacity by 25 million passengers.
Ineco will also lead the commissioning and operational transition (ORAT) of the terminal.
