Carlos J. Hernando, International Business Manager, participated in the visit of the representatives of the main entities involved in the Latin American and Caribbean Space Agency (ALCE) to the headquarters of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. This conference is part of the European initiative "EU Global Action on Space", which aims to promote the European Union's space programmes worldwide, through the "SPACE Y" association, of which our company is a member.
The ALCE delegation was interested in the main projects developed by Ineco, as well as the lines of work in the space field, with special emphasis on the existing capabilities in satellite navigation and Earth observation, both in the operation and service provision of systems and in the implementation of satellite-based user solutions in the world of transport.
The meeting was attended by Teresa Riesgo, Secretary General for Innovation and Miguel Belló, acting director of the Spanish Space Agency and commissioner for the PERTE Aerospace, as well as representatives of the space agencies of Mexico, Brazil and Argentina and the main players in the Spanish space ecosystem.
