María Dolores Salorio, Ineco's expert in PMO and Works Management, has highlighted the value of the railway access and extension works of the access and internal network of the outer harbour of A Coruña in Punta Langosteira, promoted by the Port.

Authority, during a technical visit to the port on the occasion of the 9th National Congress of the Technical Association of Ports and Coasts (ATPYC).

The works for the railway access to the outer harbour are being carried out by Adif AV ( Adif HS), within the framework of the agreement signed by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Adif AV, Puertos del Estado and the Port Authority of A Coruña.

In her speech she emphasised that: "with the construction of this infrastructure connecting the railway on the Atlantic axis and the port, sustainability in land freight transport in Spain is boosted".

This congress, under the slogan "Contribution of ports and coasts to the energy transition", discussed strategies for adapting to climate change, new fuels, challenges in the development of offshore wind energy, new technologies, etc.
