Sergio Vázquez Torrón discussed the planning of territories and the role of artificial intelligence in mobility
The president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, took part in the Greencities and S-Moving forum held in Malaga with the aim of promoting urban transformation through intelligent and sustainable mobility.
Sergio Vázquez Torrón discussed the planning of territories and the role of artificial intelligence in mobility in the panel "The irruption of AI in the management of smart cities: the use of the digital twin as a new ally for decision-making" together with representatives of Ametic, Barcelona City Council, T-Systems and Inkolan. In his speeches, the president of Ineco pointed out the company's leading role in all major infrastructure plans and stressed that: "sustainable mobility in cities should not be the subject of political questioning when there is a change of government". In the field of technology, he stressed that it is important to convey to citizens the importance of digitalisation, and he also highlighted the fact that "public authorities, in particular city councils, should equip themselves with technologist profiles capable of understanding the possibilities of the digital tools available".
More than 250 organisations, including representatives from more than 50 cities, met at this forum to take stock of the measures proposed to date in terms of urban innovation and sustainable mobility, as well as to discuss the guidelines to be followed from now on.
