The president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, presented the FITEA Award 2024 to Robot MOXIE, an educational project that proposes to use a virtual assistant as an emotional companion and learning facilitator for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a simulated space mission.

This award seeks to reward and encourage the development of projects that integrate aerospace technology into education, promoting meaningful and relevant learning.

This award is part of the Aerospace Innovation, Talent and Education Forum, organised by Virtual Educa and Ellas Vuelan Alto, which is held in Madrid with the aim of promoting STEM vocations, especially among girls, and which offers a valuable opportunity for relevant collaboration in the field of aerospace and educational innovation.

In this sense, the expert in Aviation Safety, Ángela Abad, and National Business manager, Marta Gabaldón, gave a presentation entitled "How to be an aerospace engineer", in which they explained the different fields in which these professionals work to an audience made up mainly of students in their final years of secondary school and first-year university students. In their speech, they emphasised the activities they carry out within Ineco, providing details of their own work and experiences in the field of air navigation.

Carolina Ajates, International Business manager, is also scheduled to take part in a round table discussion on Thursday entitled "Opening paths towards equality". The discussion will focus on identifying best practices and policies being implemented by companies in the aviation sector to ensure equal opportunities, focusing on the analysis of success stories, the challenges faced and the impact of these policies on diversity and inclusion within the industry.
