Ineco has been present at two important events for the space sector: EU Space Week 2023 and the Space Congress 2023, held in Seville last week.
Carlos J. Hernando, International Business Manager, took part in the round table discussion "Spanish Space Agency", moderated by Miguel Belló, director of the Agency, and debated the implications and contribution of the Spanish Space Agency in the public, technological and industrial spheres. In his speech, Carlos J. Hernando highlighted the role of satellite services in the activity of companies and public and governmental entities for the development of society in a sustainable and prosperous way. He also highlighted the contribution that the Spanish Space Agency is going to make to structuring and catalysing the exploitation of spatial data and services in a coordinated manner among all those involved in the value chain.
EU Space Week 2023 is the leading event in the field of EU Space Programmes for industry, start-ups, public entities, investors and users. This year, under the theme "Sustainable Innovation for a Resilient Europe", the main actors of the European aerospace sector, together with the EC, ESA and EUSPA, presented the trends and key lines of the European strategy for this decade.
For its part, organised by TEDAE (Spanish Association of Defence, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technologies), the Space 2023 Congress was held, at which the capabilities of the sector in Spain and the achievements made at a crucial time for the sector were presented. In addition, the creation and mission of the new Spanish Space Agency, whose headquarters are located in Seville, was highlighted and promoted.
