The Engineering and Consulting General Director, Patricia Rey, participated in the meeting "Women... and beyond", organised by the School of Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
In a relaxed format, the speakers and the audience discussed the professional success of women in the civil engineering sector. Challenges, difficulties, incentives for the presence of women in management positions, anecdotes and the future of the profession for newly qualified female engineers were some of the topics discussed.
In her speech, Patricia Rey pointed out that "balance must be an inspirational constant. It is important to maintain harmony between personal and professional life as the only way to achieve sustainable progress.
