A multidisciplinary team made up of more than 20 Ineco professionals have worked alongside the SEPES team in the study and promotion of the technical aspects of the Campamento project in Madrid. With very diverse profiles, our team carries out different tasks ranging from graphic design to urban management, including environmental, sustainability and engineering solutions, reinforcing, with their experience, the work carried out by the public land business entity dependent on the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda.
Campamento is the most important public housing project at national level, both in terms of its size and its specific weight within the Affordable Rental Housing Plan. A plan, promoted by the Spanish Government in October 2022, when a collaboration protocol was formalised between the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility for the sale of this military land, which SEPES will develop and which will allow the construction of 10,700 homes, with the commitment that 100% will be affordable.
This plan aims to reduce the effects of the imbalances in the housing rental market in certain areas of the national territory where it is particularly strained and which cause great difficulty in accessing housing due to the shortage of supply and the consequent increase in prices.
The company incorporates its transversal and innovative vision in this key action of urban regeneration and public housing policies. This project will also bring other benefits for the city of Madrid as a whole, such as improved connectivity, the development of new facilities and services and the contribution to territorial rebalancing.
