We have developed the survey that identifies the current problems at Casablanca airport, as well as the design of the new infrastructures.
Casablanca is the most densely populated city in Morocco with nearly six million inhabitants. 50% of the country’s industrial activity is concentrated in the city, and it is also the financial capital of the Morocco. As Casablanca has developed, the current facilities at the Mohammed V airport have lagged behind and are no longer sufficient to address the growing demands of passengers and aircraft traffic in the short term.

Diagnostic and functional analysis
Ineco’s team carried out a diagnostic and functional analysis of Terminal 1 which covers a surface area of 40,000 m² and Terminal 2 which currently covers a surface area of 66,000 m².
The project was divided into three phases. An initial phase, in which the situation was analysed and a diagnosis made, followed by a second phase in which the infrastructure needs were determined and alternatives proposed, and a third and final phase analysing the impact which the new development would have on these areas, with particular emphasis on Terminal 1.
Ineco’s expansion studies for the Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca have achieved new facilities able to cope with the future demands of passengers and aircraft.
