Ineco has awarded an Alumni "Non-Stop" scholarship to Ernest Valentín, a student at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Lara Serrano, manager of the Training and Talent Management Sub-Directorate, represented our company at the event. This scholarship, which is the first time it has been awarded at this University, is aimed at enabling students with a good academic record to pursue their degree or double degree studies.
This action is part of Ineco's Social Scholarship Programme, through which the company aims to ensure that no person is left behind by the chance of being born in one context or another. A set of 31 scholarships for the development of university or higher studies for young people aimed at STEM students in their final years of bachelor's or master's degrees at the universities of A Coruña, Carlos III de Madrid, León, Politécnica de Cataluña, Politécnica de Madrid, Politécnica de Valencia and Rey Juan Carlos; for the MUM, Eslabón Associations and the Victoria and Mujeres Foundations, within the framework of Ineco's Horizonte Programme to support women victims of gender-based violence, to financially support the cost of the stay and maintenance of young people who, once they have reached the age of majority, continue to live under the protection of the NGO Aldeas Infantiles and thus guarantee the continuity of their studies. The programme is aimed at people with disabilities through the ONCE Foundation, and, finally, for the social and labour integration of socially disadvantaged young people who are part of the training programme provided by the Norte Joven organisation.
