Encounter of the Philippine Government and Ineco
As a part of his official visit to Spain, Philippines president Benigno S. Aquino III has met with our president Pablo Vázquez and with Corporate director Berta Barrero.
At the event, hosted by Philippines ambassador Carlos Salinas, were also present several local representatives like Joseph A. Abaya, Secretary of the Department of Transport; Albert del Rosario, Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs; Gregory Domingo, Secretary of the Department of Commerce and Industry, or Cosette Canilao, Executive Director of the PPP Center, which is the decision-making body regarding major infrastructure works in the Philippines.
President Aquino has emphasized at the meeting the great opportunities the Philippines has to offer thanks to its great growth capacity, as well as the important infrastructure projects that will be carried out in the country, such as the future airport of Manila, the development of the first underground system, the expansion of the current road network, or the north-south rail connection.
