Ineco has had the opportunity to participate in a meeting organised by the Mujeres Foundation to encourage dialogue and collaboration on the promotion of employment for women, addressing the challenges and opportunities in the field of employment.

Lara Serrano, manager in Training and Talent Management, has been our representative at this event in which they have highlighted various strategies to promote gender equality in the workplace, as well as initiatives that promote the inclusion and professional development of women in different sectors. In the speech, she reaffirmed Ineco's commitment to these values and the desire to actively contribute to a more diverse and egalitarian working environment with initiatives such as the Plan Iguales for social and labour insertion, which allows Ineco to promote the incorporation of people in vulnerable situations into its team. Made up of five programmes, the Plan addresses specific situations of people who, once integrated in Ineco, will contribute in an integral way to the creation of a fairer, more inclusive and diverse environment.

As part of this Plan Iguales, Ineco has been fighting against gender violence in its Horizonte Programme since 2020. In collaboration with Fundación Mujeres and three other associations, it promotes the incorporation of the victims of this scourge, both women and orphaned children, into the labour market. Thanks to its "Back to Work" training, Ineco has so far been able to support 48 women in preparing for employment. In addition, the company has taken on 17 women victims since its launch.
