Ineco participates in the Week of Civil Engineering, an informative event organized by the Demarcation of Cantabria of the College of Civil Engineers together with the ETSI of Santander of the University of Cantabria.
From Tuesday 27 June until Sunday 2 July, the Plaza Alfonso XIII in Santander will host an exhibition area that will be an immersive experience for citizens to learn about the work of civil engineers and the impact of these professionals on the lives of all people.
One of the attractions that can be seen is Cityneco, a smart city platform designed by Ineco that represents an intermodal and connected city through technology. Rail, road, air and maritime transport come together in this representation to see how, for example, the arrival of a passenger ferry to the city influences the rest of mobility for optimal operation. Cityneco is one of the more than 50 proprietary softwares that Ineco has and Granada was the city where the first pilot test of this development was carried out.
Opening of the production center in Santander in the near future
During this Civil Engineering Week, Ineco is also reinforcing its search for local talent with a view to the forthcoming opening of an offshore production center in Santander. From the end of July, the company will have a permanent office there to continue promoting national and international sustainable mobility and digital transformation projects from different parts of Spain.
