Our company will develop the study of construction alternatives for the railway access to the Port of Almeria. The study will be carried out in two phases: a first phase for the collection of information from previous studies, a geotechnical campaign to confirm the viability of the access from the geotechnical and hydrogeological point of view, in addition to the determination of the railway, heritage, environmental and urban development constraints. This first phase includes two studies: an initial layout study and a demand study to characterise potential traffic.

The second phase concerns the detailed study of the constructive feasibility of the alternatives, which will be characterised from a technical, environmental, town planning and port point of view to guarantee the compatibility of the alternatives proposed with the city's planning and with port operations and exploitation. An analysis of railway capacity and operation, an economic study and a study of socio-economic and financial profitability in 30 years' time will be carried out.
