Ineco held an emotional day to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women as part of its Horizonte Programme.  Under the slogan "From Victims to Survivors", the session aimed to highlight the progress achieved and to reaffirm the company's commitment to the fight against gender violence.

The president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, has announced the incorporation of the Ana Bella Foundation into the Horizonte Programme.  "A step that strengthens the network of alliances to fight against this scourge and reinforces support for women survivors through the example of its founder's overcoming". He concluded by stressing that "there is no single profile of a woman victim of gender-based violence, neither socio-economic, nor age, nor race; but there is a profile of the perpetrator: he is a man and he is a chauvinist.

During the event, the collaboration with Fundación Mujeres, Asociación Victoria, MUM (Women's Unity Against Abuse) and ESLABÓN was ratified, and the new collaboration with Ana Bella Foundation was sealed.  These strategic alliances will allow the consolidation of key lines of action, such as the integration of women survivors of gender violence into the workplace, the granting of educational scholarships for their children and orphans, and the strengthening of corporate volunteering.

Four years of survival support

Since its creation in 2020, the Horizonte Programme has generated a remarkable impact in the fight against gender-based violence and support for its victims. A total of 18 people, including women survivors and their children, have been integrated into the Ineco team and 10 social scholarships have been launched, enabling young people affected by this problem to advance in their educational training. In addition, employment guidance workshops have been implemented, benefiting 48 users, 23 of whom have found employment after their participation in this programme.

With the incorporation of the Ana Bella Foundation and the reinforcement of its alliances, Ineco is committed to promoting equality, with the aim of achieving a fairer and more equitable society.
