The 2023-2024 graduating class of the Higher Technical School of Civil Engineering (Polytechnic University in Madrid) celebrated their graduation at a ceremony attended by the president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, and Ana Rojo, Innovation and Product Development Office Director. The event was also attended by the Third Vice-President of the Government and Minister for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Sara Aagesen Muñoz.


During the ceremony, the students' efforts during their time at the School were highlighted and the best records were awarded. They also received messages from various leading engineers, including Patricia Rey, Engineering and Consultancy General Directorate at Ineco.


Ineco currently has a large team of civil engineers. 18% of the workforce comes from this engineering branch, carrying out work ranging from design to monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure and mobility. Ineco is a key player in projects such as the design and maintenance of the entire Spanish high-speed rail network. Also  in unique structures, such as the new Seville bridge or for innovative road maintenance, such as InecoSAR, which makes it possible to carry out historical studies of the terrain using satellite technology.
