Ineco has held the third workshop in its series dedicated to open innovation, this time focusing on sustainability. The meeting brought together Ineco experts and representatives of start-ups, SMEs and technology companies in the sector, reinforcing the company's commitment to the development of innovative solutions that improve our environment.

The president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, was in charge of opening this meeting, highlighting Ineco's role as a company that stirs up innovation: "this year we have made a very strong commitment to mix with the private entrepreneurial ecosystem". He also stressed that "the company has sustainability and the fight against climate change in its DNA".

This meeting reinforces Ineco's commitment to sustainable innovation, in line with projects such as the integration of CO2 emissions in construction budgets and the MINSAR system, an updateable monitoring solution, which, based on satellite data, assesses the structural health of infrastructures every 12 days, according to the refresh period of the satellites, and the condition of the surrounding area and provides an estimate of future deformation using AI techniques.

During the working sessions, the guest companies have presented proposals ranging from software for environmental sustainability management to innovations in advanced mobility. Greemko has highlighted its software for integrating carbon footprint calculation into decision making. Meep and Cargatucoche shared solutions to promote electric and shared transport, while Blowind and Zeleros highlighted their efficient transport and renewable energy technologies.

The session had a highly interactive approach, encouraging dialogue and synergies among participants. In addition, the ideas developed may be considered in the Innovation 2025 Call for Proposals, in line with Ineco's strategy of promoting co-creation as a driver of change in the sector.

As a continuation of this series, Ineco is preparing its fourth workshop, which will be dedicated to Cybersecurity, a key area in the digital transformation of infrastructures.
