A moment of the meeting
As part of the "Meetings with Spanish Ambassadors" program, the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, in collaboration with Ineco, organized a working breakfast for its members with the Spanish Ambassador to Colombia, Joaquín María de Arístegui, to analyze opportunities in Colombia.
During the meeting, moderated by the president of the Exporters Club, Antonio Bonet Madurga, the ambassador reaffirmed his total commitment to the internationalization of Spanish companies, offering his full support to companies interested in exploring opportunities in the country. The Ágora room at Ineco's corporate headquarters hosted the event, which was attended by the president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón; the general manager of International Business, Ainhoa Zubieta; the director of International Projects, Juan Ramón Hernández; and the deputy commercial director for Latin America, Rebeca Fernández. Ana Esmeralda Martínez, Director General of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, was in charge of closing the event.
Ineco is one of the Club's member companies and has a broad international presence with more than 100 projects underway, enabling it to collaborate with more than 20 Spanish companies in foreign markets. The company is widely established in Colombia, where it is currently carrying out a feasibility study for the development of the railroad between Medellín and Bogotá, through the Aburrá Valley. Ineco has been working in Colombia since its origins, promoting the development of mobility in the country. Recently, it has participated in key projects for the country such as the Medellín Metro, where it has been responsible for the technical management of the design, construction and commissioning of the rolling stock, in addition to supervising all stages of the project; or the Master Plans for the Simón Bolívar airport in Santa Marta on the Caribbean coast and the Germán Olano airport in Puerto Carreño.
