Un instante del acto de presentación de la red
With the aim of supporting and reinforcing diversity and freedom of thought, Ineco has today, International LGTBI Pride Day, presented its new diversity network IRIS.
An open network that you can access at Inet / General / Responsabilidad Corporativa / Igualdad, diversidad e inclusión , which will also supports people who require it and to act, protect and guide them in situations of rejection and/or discrimination.
The president of Ineco, Servio Vázquez Torrón, opened the presentation of the new IRIS diversity network: "Ineco is going to be at the forefront of diversity, freedom and tolerance. Being diverse makes us better. He also stressed that "what is happening around us cannot leave us indifferent. That is why in the face of the reactionary wave, in which some institutions and companies hide the banner of diversity, we will redouble our commitment to individual and collective human freedom".
Also during the event, the short 'Camino', directed by Jorge Gonzalo, was screened to reflect on gender in society and in business. He himself is president of the Observatory for Diversity in Audiovisual Media and together with his colleague Elena Crimental, director of communication at the Observatory, held a subsequent discussion with Isra and Pablo, colleagues from Ineco and members of the IRIS network.
Since 2020, Ineco has been working on a multitude of initiatives to promote and recognise diversity in the company, with actions such as joining the Business Network for LGBTI Diversity and Inclusion, signing the European Diversity Charter through the Diversity Foundation, training and awareness-raising workshops, and presence at the events held in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia and Ourense.
