The National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA) has commissioned Ineco, as a company certified in the design of flight procedures, to analyse and design the airspace of the Rozas Airborne Research Centre (CIAR) in Lugo. Our company will also carry out consultancy work to analyse the best solution for the operations to be carried out at the aerodrome, taking into account the uses for which it is intended, and will accompany CIAR in the process of processing the application with the aeronautical authorities.
CIAR is an unmanned aircraft flight (UAVs) test centre equipped with the leading-edge technology to host the test operations of any entity that requires it, receive real-time data during the tests and process it. Located at the Rozas aerodrome, this centre shares the use of the infrastructure and airspace with the Lugo Aeroclub, thus allowing drone tests and manned aircraft flights to coexist in the same space. Current drone regulations require the definition and publication of a geographical area for drone activities.
